PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s 62nd Fine Art Fair will take over the Riverfront Festival Park this weekend.
Shannon Cox, Executive Director of Peoria Art Guild, says the event is the largest cultural event of the year.
“Art for everybody to enjoy…all walks of life, there’s something for everybody. There’s music…we partner with the Central Illinois Jazz Society now. There’s really good jazz music on the CEFCU Stage, and then on Sunday we have local organizations to perform,” Cox says.
There’s also activities like a community mural, where everyone can get involved creating a mural, as well as kids’ art class.
Cox tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan”, there’s also plenty of food and drink, with four local wineries and plenty of food vendors on the Riverfront.
The 62nd annual Fine Art Fair runs Saturday 10-5, and Sunday from 10-4. Admission is $10 for adults. Children under 12 get in free.
