PEORIA, Ill. – The 32nd Greater Peoria Honor Flight left for Washington, D.C. Tuesday morning.
77 local veterans and their guardians will be visiting the monuments and war memorials in D.C., before returning to Peoria International Airport Tuesday night.
Organizers are again asking the public to show up in support of the veterans. Shuttles will run from the CEFCU parking lot near PIA starting at 8 p.m.
The Honor Flight is expected back around 9:30.
